The Aquarian Teacher course is the KRI Level 1 Certification program in Kundalini Yoga as taught by Yogi Bhajan™. In Level 1 you will become an Instructor and experience and gain an understanding of the core of the science of Kundalini Yoga. You will develop the skills to instruct students in Kundalini Yoga Kriyas and Meditations. You will practice teaching Kundalini Yoga in a practicum setting, participate in early morning Sadhanas (spiritual practice), and experience the powerful transformational practice of White Tantric Yoga. This 220 hour course includes 180 hours of classroom instruction in a well-defined curriculum which includes: Teaching Kundalini Yoga Postures, Kriyas & Meditations, Yogic Philosophy & the Origin of Kundalini Yoga, Yogic & Western Anatomy, Humanology & 3HO Yogic Lifestyle and The Role of a Kundalini Yoga Teacher. Yogi Bhajan, Master of Kundalini Yoga, arrived in the United State s in 1968 with a stated purpose : ?I have come to create Teachers, not to gather disciples .? He traveled internationally teaching Kundalini Yoga, the Yoga of Awareness. In 1969 Yogi Bhajan founded 3HO, the Happy, Healthy, Holy Organization, based on his first principle: ?Happiness is your birthright .? Through the Aquarian Teacher Program, Yogi Bhajan has trained thousands of KRI Certified Kundalini Yoga Teachers. In 1994, the International Kundalini Yoga Teachers Association (IKYTA) was founded to further spread these priceless teachings through the united efforts of worldwide Kundalini Yoga teachers.

About the Instructors:

Your course of study will primarily be taught by Siri Neel Kaur Khalsa who founded the 3HO Yoga Center in Harrisburg in 1974. She began practicing yoga in 1968, after meeting Yogi Bhajan in 1970, she followed his advice to open a center here in south central Pennsylvania. Since that time she has taught thousands of people of all ages the science of Kundalini Yoga. She is a gifted holistic healer and counselor. She now lives in northern New Mexico. Guru Darshan K and Guru Simran S will be the local teachers. Other qualified guest instructors from New Mexico will bring their expertise to special classes throughout the course.

The tuition covers all the classes including vegetarian snacks, required books, guest speakers' fees and association dues. Transportation and lodging are not included. Within the year students are required to attend a White Tantric Yoga course, the fees and costs for this are not included. There is a reduced rate for full payment prior to the start, and payment plans are available.
